PRIMARY pupils showed they had the X-mas Factor when they invited friends and family into school for a festive showstopper to remember.
The Education Village, Darlington, was transformed into a Yuletide grotto, complete with Santa, elves, snowmen and an army of toy soldiers, all pupils from Beaumont Hill Academy.
Pupils and staff have been rehearsing for the past six weeks culminating in an hour-long spectacular featuring a host of Christmas favourites, including Jingle Bells, a variation on the 12 Days of Christmas and Halleluiah.
Assistant head at The Education Village Karen Revill said: “Staff and pupils have been rehearsing for weeks and the show was testament to their hard work and talent.
“All the children looked amazing and performed brilliantly well. The extravaganza has really put us in the perfect mood for Christmas.”
