SNOW White gained an extra dwarf for an alternative look at a classic tale of good versus evil.

The unique production, staged by students at Darlington School of Mathematics and Science, played to packed houses of primary school children, friends and family.

Year 7-11 students helped write, produce and adapt the fairy-tale into a hilarious rendition hailed ‘the best ever seen at the school’.

The peerless two-hour performances marked the culmination of three months of rehearsals by a cast of 40.

Drama teacher Kayleigh Adams said: “The students were absolutely brilliant and it is the best show I have ever seen.

“The children helped to script it and during every performance something happened to make it even funnier.”
