YOUNG dancers pulled back the covers to reveal a host of talent in an annual extravaganza to remember.

Students from Trinity Academy, Thorne, staged Undercover to a packed house of family and friends.

The culmination of months of rehearsals, the dance show provided many students with the chance to debut their talents.

The hour-long spectacular was based on cover songs and remixes with much of the choreography arranged by the Year 7 to 11 dancers themselves.

Styles ranged from contemporary to lyrical, ballet to street in a dazzling display of footwork and movement.

Dance teacher Gemma McArthur said: “Many of the dancers have only been with us since September and for some the performance was their public debut.

“They have all worked incredibly hard out of school hours to come up with and perfect their routines and shown incredible passion and commitment to the art.”

She said many of the students had volunteered to take part after attending last year’s performance.
