SCORES of students showed their mettle after securing bronze and silver Duke of Edinburgh's Awards.
Sixty nine Year 10 and 11 students from Laurence Jackson School, Guisborough, celebrated their achievements with family at a special awards evening.
Assistant headteacher Marc Tyzack said: “It was great to share the evening with so many students and their parents and carers along with a number of guests of honour in our main school hall.”
As part of the evening, several students performed a musical instrument or presented their Duke of Edinburgh's experiences to the audience.
The success has inspired Year 9 students and 73 have signed up for the bronze award starting in the new year.
