TALENTED arts students have been exhibiting their skills at an end of course showcase to remember.
Blackwell Grange Hotel was transformed into a stunning gallery for the event which marked the culmination of Darlington College students’ work.
Visitors enjoyed perusing a rich variety of work which featured a range of media including paintings, sculptures, glassware, textiles and photography.
Included in the exhibition was work from students who had just completed art and design levels 1-3, first and second year students studying level 3 creative practise, level 2 photography, level 2 digital graphics and fashion and textiles levels 1 and 2.
Darlington College art and design lecturer Amy Minto said: “There’s an incredible array of pieces in the exhibition all of which are testament to the hard work, dedication and talents of our students.
“Staging an exhibition in a hotel away from the college makes the showcase feel special, more professional. I’m sure our students will remember the experience for years to come and will be inspired to show their work publicly in the future.”
